CIPD is the governing body for training and development in the UK and their magazine and website are traditional sources of news for training managers and HR professionals. I find CIPD a bit stale at times but they are still a good place to start and the magazine is free to members.
Personnel Today
A good online training news site with some interesting blogs – leaning towards HR but also very good for training managers. They also have a useful is somewhat unattractive magazine.
Twitter
Always good for quick training news if you’re connected to the right people for up to date new about training. Be warned though – not always accurate though.
Good quality online and paper training news publication – shame about the cost.
Training press releases rather than pure news. Training managers have to pay quite a bit (ÂŁ1000+) to be members which is reflected in the content.
