Embodied Management Training teaches people how to lead authentically with presence, gravitas and charisma. Research shows that 90% of communication is non-verbal and that emotional intelligence and personal impact are critical success factors, yet most training does not address leadership and the body. Our executive and management training consists of some simple physical practices relating to posture, breathing and non-athletic movement, combined with linguistic training. This training improves not just what managers know, but their personal impact and who they are - which determines the results they can achieve.

Workshops take 2-7 days in an office environment and are suitable for managers, executives and leaders of all levels. We are happy to arrange a free half-day trial or one-to-one embodied coaching session ahead of group training so that clients can see the benefits of Embodied Management Training and embodied learning.

Is Embodied Learning about body language?

Yes and much more. "Body-being" would be more accurate a description of our executive management development as we work at the level of manager's characters, rather than by teaching inauthentic gestures. We teach what people's bodies reveal on a deeper level - known as somatic assessment. "Physical intelligence" would be another way of talking about the leadership skills we enhance. We help managers shift who they are to raise their organisation's performance.

A personal note from Integration Training's Lead Trainer Mark Walsh on working with the body in business

"I love Embodied Management Training and embodied learning. I see daily how leadership skills not only makes a huge difference to people's job performance but how it's personally transformative...it has been for me! When asked what we do at Integration Training I sometimes say, "the human side of business" and both sides of this are important to me - getting the job done AND supporting the people who do it. My own background is in the field of non-governmental organisations and I've spent years training in embodied work abroad and field testing it in demanding locations such as conflict zones. The current financial climate is equally challenging and I see the present situation as necessitating exactly the kind of effective, centred leaders that we help forge.
